Pedestals for Cable or Feeder Support
These precast concrete pedestals are used for supporting feeder clamps or cable trays that need to be suspended above a horisontal surface.
The pedestals were first used on flat roofs to support feeder and cable services connected to roof top antennas. The pedestals elevated the services off the waterproofed surface of the roof, thereby protecting both services and waterproofing. It has found many similar uses since.
The pedestals are supplied with standard M10 nuts cast in flush with the top to secure feeder clamps or cable trays. The concrete blocks are sufficiently sturdy that it may not be knocked over easily.
