Paddock Fences

DISCONTINUED

The Classy, Durable, Wise Choice
Vanstone Paddock Fences are precast concrete post and rail type fences in the style of ranch or equestrial paddocks.

Precast fences will not dry out, warp, crack or burn.

In the dry African climate Vanstone Paddock Fences require no maintenance.

Experience has taught that the Square Form is more practical than the round form. The round form is no longer manufactured.

Installation

    • After determining the fence line, accurately mark out post positions 1.85m apart. Dig holes, place and line up the posts. Holes can be 300mm - 400mm deep.
    • Work from one end and insert the rails while backfilling and fixing the posts at the same time. Some temporary stays may be necessary. For backfill use concrete or a well rammed 10% cement:soil mixture.
    • For shallower planting depths use only concrete. Where heavy clay soil is encountered, use solid concrete bases at least 500x500x300mm deep.
